Job Description
- Performs preventive maintenance on heavy equipment, including lubrication, fluid replacement, cleaning, and routine safety inspections to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Diagnoses faults in hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems, and carries out necessary repairs or replacement of defective components.
- Strictly adheres to company safety policies, operational procedures, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of equipment maintenance, repairs, inspections, and service hours.
- Conducts regular housekeeping of the MHED office, workshop, and parts stockroom, ensuring proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a two (2) year vocational course in Mechanical or related field.
- TESDA Certified Heavy Equipment Mechanic NC II.
- At least two (2) years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and equipment troubleshooting
- Skilled in preventive maintenance, inspection, and repair of heavy equipment.
- Good communication skills, patient, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
