Job Description
- Operates various MHED heavy equipment, including but not limited to cranes, lifts, wheel loaders, excavators, and trucks, in support of construction, hauling, and engineering operations.
- Safely lifts, transports, and positions materials, equipment, and other loads to support construction projects, engineering repairs, and hauling requirements.
- Ensures all MHED equipment remains in safe, clean, and operational condition through regular inspections, preventive checks, and heavy equipment evaluations.
- Assists MHED mechanics in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy equipment to ensure continuous operational readiness.
- Performs regular housekeeping and cleaning of the MHED office, workshop, and parts stockroom, while ensuring proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a two (2) year vocational course with TESDA certification in Heavy Equipment Operation
- At least two (2) years of experience in heavy equipment operation.
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment with knowledge of equipment handling and basic maintenance
- Knowledgeable in safety procedures, equipment inspection, and compliance with operational standards.
