Job Description
- Legal representation - Manage and Improve on Internal Legal Department of the group.
- Governance oversight - Prepares and reviews board resolutions, legal documents, and filings to support sound corporate governance
- Counsel and Risk Mitigation - Provides legal advice on disputes, transactions, and policies to minimize exposure to legal and financial risks
- Regulatory compliance - Monitors and enforces adherence to corporate, labor, tax, and industry regulations to prevent penalties and liabilities.
- Contract Management - Reviews and draft contracts to protect company's interests and ensure compliance with applicable laws
- Execute legal portion of the instructions of Management
Qualifications
- Education - Bachelor's of Law or Juris Doctor, must be a member of Philippine Bar
- Certifications/training - Continuing legal education compliance (MCLE), specialize training in corporate law, contract management, or labor law is an advantage.
- at least 2-3 yrs of experience of progressive legal practice
- with experience in corporate legal management
- with experience in contract drafting, reviewing, and regulatory compliance
- Technical skills: Proficiency in legal research, contract drafting, regulatory filings, and case management systems
- Soft skills: Strong analytical thinking, leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision-making abilities, high ethical standards and integrity
